Buttercups are often associated with childhood joy, sunny days and simple moments of play. This design was inspired by the familiar game of holding a buttercup beneath someone’s chin to see if they “liked butter”, a small ritual that brought a little magic to school lunchtimes.

Each necklace is handmade in the UK by Danniella in her small independent studio, crafted with the care and attention that only true artisanal work carries.

The pendant is a hand-fabricated in your choice of 9ct or 18ct gold. The buttercup pendant measures approximately 13mm in diameter. Its highly polished interior reflects light to echo the golden glow of the childhood game, while the satin-finished underside of the petals provide a soft contrast. The flower hangs from a fine gold trace chain and is available in your choice of length.

If you would like a chain length not listed, or prefer the piece made in a different colour of gold, please contact me before ordering either via the contact form or email: danniella@wilde-flower.com.

All Wilde Flower gold pieces are hallmarked in accordance with UK hallmarking laws.

Because each buttercup is hand fabricated by Danniella, subtle variations will occur, making every necklace truly unique.
